Protecting our
soil and water for a
sustainable future.

Our Mission
At Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District, we are dedicated to helping landowners understand and implement conservation practices that will improve the quality and health of our soil and water resources.  Our goal is to protect the soil and water for future generations.

Soil Health Assessments

In partnership with the ISDA, we offer soil testing and analysis services to assess soil health, nutrient levels, and organic matter content, providing valuable insights for sustainable farming practices.

Student Education

Our team provides conservation education materials and presentations to Adams County students, including schools in our Amish community. Our annual "Splash Day" is an exciting conservation education field day for sixth grade students.

Farm Equipment Rental

We are proud to promote our "Land Pride" 7' wide no-till drill; CRV 30' Roller-Crimper; and an Interseeder tool, all for rent at reasonable prices. Our Land Pride drill can be modified to allow it to be pulled by tractor OR horse team. These tools assist farmers with implementing conservation farming practices.
